Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Traffic at St. Cloud High's car loop has never been a problem, but with part of the car loop being closed off due to the expansion of building three, some have found it hard to navigate. Some administrators might think itā€™s easy to deal with traffic, while other students and parents find it hard to work around the problem. Nonetheless, hereā€™s everything you need to know about the traffic issue in St. Cloud High's car loop.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Since school has started students and parents have found it hard to get to school on time due to part of the car loop being closed off and having to go through a specific route. St. Cloud High School's homepage states that students must be in class by ā€œ7:10ā€ which sounds fairā€¦ until it doesnā€™t. A student at St. Cloud high, who would like to remain anonymous, says ā€œthe car loop gets pretty crowded so I try getting to school as early as I can because I donā€™t want lunch detention.ā€ Other students agree with this because the last thing anyone wants is lunch detention for something they couldnā€™t control. Even though students try getting to school as early as they possibly can, some just might not have that option.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Parents also find it hard to navigate around the car loop due to the sudden change in route from the closed road. They might see a teacher going a different way, get mixed up and follow behind them creating two routes that could clash. One parent, Mrs. Gonzales, states that ā€œIt was hard to find my way around at first because there was so much that had changed but it all just depends on the parents who are driving.ā€ This makes sense considering parents of new students might not know the correct route and can end up going the wrong way. Overall, this ends up being hard on the parent who is trying to get their kid to school on time.

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Although students and parents have made claims about the car loop, many administrators donā€™t agree with the statements they've made. They think itā€™s possible that the problem is within the students and parents who donā€™t listen. According to an admin at St. Cloud High, he stated that ā€œItā€™s especially hard to navigate kids who are crossing with earbuds that canā€™t hear meā€. This makes it hard for him to get students to where they are going on time. The same administrator also states that even though some people might find traffic to be a problem, ā€œIt does get better and as time goes people learn how to accustom themselves to the change.ā€
