The SCHS Golden Girls dance team has been working very hard while also being very cautious during this pandemic. The dance team has taken every step possible to ensure that each member of the team can practice safely without fear of sickness or infection. They have taken measurements to distance themselves, disinfect themselves, and not to interact with each other too much. Doing this will allow for them to continue to meet and practice. The team has worked for hours and hours on end to sharpen their skills as much as possible and to show their school and the rest of Saint Cloud what they truly are capable of.
The dance team has been truly incredible, and they have practiced non-stop in order to prepare for the sports games and the shows that they perform in. The dance team has performed at two football games and four volleyball games so far this season, and the number of performances will only increase as the year goes on as sports, such as soccer and basketball, are getting ready to kick off their season. The Golden Girls have proven to be very welcoming to all who choose to SCHS, no matter who they are or where they may happen to come from.
The team prove to be truly welcoming, and they truly put both their fellow students and their own grades before anything else. The team is currently working on their special, one of a kind holiday dance, featuring many of the classic and renewed versions of holiday songs we all know and love. Without giving anything away, I can most definitely say the Golden Girls will, without a doubt, bring you a grand spectacle of a show you will never forget.
After watching their show, you will truly notice how each and every member give it everything they have and ten times that to ensure the experience you have watching them will be something that you will remember for years to come.
The Golden Girls constantly work themselves to the bone in order to prepare themselves for their upcoming performances, and if one of them happen to fall behind in learning a new move or dance routine, the girls will do whatever is deemed necessary so that none of them will fall behind in the end. Each dance routine performed is practiced so that they all get a mental picture in their head and will know where they need to be and exactly what they are going to do.
These girls have proven time and time again that they have what it takes to be the absolute best at what they are doing now and whatever they may choose to do in the future.
