The Bulldogs had many games last week, not just football but with all other sports that this school has to offer. First things first, the football team faced Lake Nona this past Friday. They fought hard but came up short in 30-13 loss against the Lake Nona Lions. Patrick Forsyth made a one yard touchdown in the third quarter which made the game closer, but they could not overcome the deficit that they were in since the first half. Lake Nona had 323 total yards with 202 of them being passing yards. Schs had 174 total yards with 93 of them being passing yards.

Additionally, the varsity girls' volleyball team played against Viera High School last Monday in a district playoff game. They were 11-1 going into the quarter final versus Viera, having a great season with a 9-2 record going into the playoff game. The Lady Bulldogs knew this was going to be a tough one and they would have to play hard but sadly the Lady Bulldogs lost the last set, 17-15, and got eliminated. Not all was on the bad side for SCHS as the Lady Bulldogs came back from their last loss with a 3-0 victory over Liberty High School. A couple nice plays by Jazmin Santiago, Brooke Singleton, and Heylianis Aqino helped give them this clean win against Liberty last Tuesday. The girls' volleyball season is looking good this year, but their season is not over yet as they face the Harmony Longhorns on Thursday.

More sports are coming up this and next week. Football is having a home game on October 23rd against Winter Springs High School and are looking to bounce back from their two-game losing streak with a win.

Again, the girls' volleyball team have another away game against Harmony and are looking to win this rivalry match and better their record. Boys' and girls' soccer just started doing tryouts this week, so expect to see some soccer feedback when their seasons officially start this winter.

Basketball is also starting up soon, so when the boys' and girls' basketballs seasons get underway check back here on The Cloud for coverage. Cross Country had a meet last Wednesday at SCHS we have not got any scores yet. The baseball team has an off-season game this Thursday against West Orange High School. Both teams will play a game at 4:30 pm and one at 6:30 pm. Good luck to all the teams and their games this week.
